Nicholas R. Wallace – Of Counsel
Nicholas R. Wallace is a New York-based attorney known for sophisticated, intentional counsel — bringing to LOPRESTI, PLLC a practice built on precision, strategic clarity and the ability to navigate complex matters across technology, policy, media, sports and the arts.
With foundations built at Milbank LLP and Jones Day, Nicholas advises companies, creatives and emerging ventures where ideas and commerce intersect — structuring deals, designing governance frameworks and counseling clients through transactions that demand both rigor and vision.
Nicholas serves as outside general counsel to Re-Emerging Athletes, where he helps design the governance and legal framework for a new U.S. professional tennis league. He also serves as Legal Advisor to the National Queer Theatre, working at the intersection of arts, policy, advocacy and cultural strategy.
Education
Nicholas holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan’s Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy.
During his graduate studies, he completed academic study at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México in Mexico City. He received the Hispanic Lawyers Scholarship Fund of Illinois Award and the Clara Belfield & Henry Bates Overseas Fellowship, completing policy and legal work in São Paulo.
Nicholas earned his B.A. in Philosophy from Fordham University, with academic study at Universitat de Barcelona and Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and is a graduate of Boston College High School.
Nicholas is admitted to practice in New York and is fluent in Spanish.
