Kevin Fox – Consultant / Writer / Producer 

Kevin Fox has been a professional writer for over thirty years, beginning with the sale of the feature script Fire & Rain to New Line Cinema in 1995. Kevin brings years of hands-on experience in film, television and publishing to LOPRESTI, PLLC‘s Media & Entertainment practice, providing clients and the firm’s attorneys with practical insight into the creative, development, production and commercial realities of the entertainment industry.

As a feature screenwriter, Kevin’s credits include The Negotiator, starring Samuel L. Jackson, as well as dozens of feature scripts for producers such as Jerry Bruckheimer, John Davis, Barry Josephson and Joe Roth, including a vehicle for Julia Roberts. Kevin has also worked with directors John Woo, Tim Robbins and F. Gary Gray.

In television, Kevin has created, executive produced and served as showrunner for a pair of dramatic series, Ryan Caulfield and Queens Supreme, for FOX and CBS respectively. He has created, developed and sold pilot scripts for a wide range of producers including DC Comics, Denis Leary & Jim Serpico, Kiefer Sutherland, McG and Kelsey Grammer as well as for studios including Amazon, Sony Television, Warner Bros Television, Lionsgate, CBS/Paramount, 20th and Universal. Recent engagements include five years as a Co-Executive Producer on NBC’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, where his work was nominated for the prestigious Edgar Award in 2015, as well as a four season run executive producing Power: Book III: Raising Kanan for Starz and Lionsgate. Kevin is currently executive producing the next spinoff in that franchise, Power: Origins and is a consultant on saveral films, here and in Europe as well as half a dozen television projects.

In the publishing world, Kevin is the writer/creator of the graphic novel, Ward Six, published by Kickstart Comics, as well as the author of Until the Next Time, a novel published by Algonquin Books. His latest novel, Great Kills, was published in the fall of 2019. As a playwright, he currently has two straight plays in development, one in the UK and another in Los Angeles.

Born in Staten Island and raised in New York City in an Irish American family of police officers, Kevin is a dual citizen of the United States and The Irish Republic.
